Can’t believe this was directed by the same person who brought us the fantastic 2017 Wonder Woman film. Total snooze-fest. Max Lord was one dimensional to the point of being comical (in a bad way) Cheetah’s herky-jerky development/transformation was one of the few bright spots in the film, but ultimately fell flat. Even the reunion of Diana and Steve felt...uninspired. While the film had a good message at its core (the dangers of avarice), it became dulled and unconvincing because of the meandering execution. Here’s hoping WW3 gets this franchise back on track.
