The end of the movie reveals it's profound truths in our history. Our country has been traumatized by the sins of our ancestors-an uncomfortable truth we must acknowledge, accept, discuss and resolve until we bridge the divides as a nation. "Emancipation" has inspired me to engage in discussions with the hope of finding some meaningful resolutions. This is a powerful movie worthy of watching.
