Lots of really bad mothers don’t raise kids as bad as Kevin. The fact that Swinton didn’t smother him with a pillow or drown him in the bathtub qualifies her for sainthood. She really should have left that town that is straight out of a Stephen King story. Beautiful acting of a very disturbing story by all involved.

I agree with other posters that the awesomeness of this movie is its ability to show the triumph of the human spirit through a true story.

I actually love this movie. The acting is amazing and the story a twisted study of humanity .
