I really liked the movie and the point it tried to portray. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they tried to make the girl out to be bad because she was suspicious of 3 guys taking her underage drunk sister to the woods. Albeit an accident. You want people to understand the black dilemma of the movie, not being able to call the cops, but women watch true crime.... we know what happens 99.5% of the time three dudes take a girl in a van to the woods. If you think I'm going to believe you trying to tell me you weren't doing something nefarious with my drunk underage sister in the woods with you all bleeding and stuff, nah, it'd take me a minute to believe that as well. If it were me, I'd be scared if it were three dudes no matter the race, when would you not be suspicious of that situation. Literally, Id like any dad brother boyfriend tell me when theyd see that and not think something bad. If it wasn't for that one thing I honestly think it would have been an awesome movie. I don't think it was really even needed, accept to get back at white women for years of issues, and I understand that which is why I gave it 5 stars. That being said if you see three dudes with a young inniebriated girl being put into a van in the woods, no matter her color or their color, call the cops. 200k women go missing a year.
