I just started watching this 2 days ago. I have been a long time star trek fan, watching it as a family every Saturday night as a kid. Although recent star trek has deviated from the morality it had and the ethical dilemmas it was faced with, its nice to see some who still appreciate the original formula. Less lens flare, explosions and flashy graphics, more character development, warmth and story. Its almost hard to believe after watching that this was a fan production. All the sets, clothing, soundtracks, color, props, ship designs, camera angles and mannerisms faithfully reproduced (and they look amazing). Only a work of passion and love could make this. Thank you very much for this, it was a nice surprise. :)
