After sixteen years of his previous work, Todd Field has returned with a powerful and different work. Cate Blanchett, with a great and magnificent shape and the image of a military commander with a baton, is one of the definite choices of the awards season. Most of the film takes place in the music recording hall and we see a flawless visual symphony of a bold director and a smart cinematographer.
