As the first review for this game, I really love everything about this game! The 2D prerendered characters in a polygonal 3D world, the simple controls, the fast-paced gameplay, gameplay similarities to Kirby and Yoshi, the cutesy aesthetic, Klonoa himself, the characters, the strong story, the heartbreaking and bittersweet moments, the iconic PS1 look, the unique soundtrack (as a music geek it's very different thanks to some unconventional music techniques), and much more! Despite some flaws like that one attack in Ghadius's fight that takes too long and not having a proper 100% completion reward, I'd still excuse these things because I consider it an underrated masterpiece and one of the greatest PS1 platformers, as well as one of the greatest platformers in general. I've loved the series ever since I played this game about half a year ago. ~Fly high, Klonoa.~
