For the first time in my 36+ year existence I’m giving a Martin S. film a low score. Btw, he is one of my top filmmakers. I went into this film expecting action akin to “Casino” and the like. Instead “The Irishman” was just a drawn out timid drama of Jimmy Hoffa. I learned more about Jimmy in my Chicago History class than the “content” of this recent movie. Don’t get me wrong, M.S. films usually crush opponents and I love them, but “The Irishman”, IT SUCKS and put the majority of people asleep. I am disappointed that I am forced to provide such a negative review against M.S.
