Let’s begin with the beginning. Beautiful song, surprised at how well Oscar Isaac could sing.... but let’s be real here, it dragged way too long. What was the point of the cat. You grow attached to it, but are distraught to how mad it’s treated. Were there any cats harmed in the making of this film? What happened to the cat he sorta hit on the highway?!? And what happened to the man that was left on the side of the road? What even was his job? And let’s not get started on the white Boy who was arrested. Why did they take him in so quickly? It’s like reverse racism I think. So for that, extra points I guess... I’m a minority btw. My final point. The worst character of the entire movie was the sloozy woman who wouldn’t own up to her mess up and blame him for getting pregnant. Did she abort the baby? AND HIS EX THAT ACTUALLY KEPT THE BABY?!?! A lot of open endings that gives you no clarity as to what’s next. Also, s/o to bob dylan, hommie made his appearance at the end. ***** spoiler alert**** Overall, 2.75/10 Could be better, but could be worse.
