I am a retired literary professor, and I love going to the movies. When I went to watch this movie, I couldn’t make it past the first half hour. One of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. And I really wanted to enjoy it because it deals with Oklahoma, which is where all of my family originated. And I go to see a lot of movies that aren’t great movies just to digest the idea presented in the movie. Horrible movie. Don’t understand what DiCaprio and DeNiro have to do with this. Apparently they’re just in it for the money because their performances were absolutely abysmal. Just because DeNiro can memorize and recite the Osage Indian language doesn’t make him a great actor. Terribly disappointing. Terribly boring.
