Saw the first day first show of URI - the surgical strike and the gun fights in this movie is something you haven't seen in bollywood till now. Action scenes in this movie are amazing. Direction is nice but at points it could've been better but the cinematography of the movie covers it all. VFX used in the movie are absolutely stunning. It looks as realistic as possible. Vicky kaushal as always nailed it and paresh rawal and mohit raina did good work as well. The movie is very realistic , you won't see cars and goons flying here and there. It has a bit of a humour at times but mostly the movie is pretty serious.At times it reminds CALL OF DUTY , ZERO DARK THIRTY & 12 STRONG. People consider border as best war film of bollywood but I think border had wayyyyy too much drama in it than war. Of course for the time it was released, it was good but if you want a perfect bollywood war film of all time then you should see URI the surgical strike.
