I love crappy movies and I still couldn’t handle this. I watched it from beginning to end. So terrible.

Disappointing. I thought since it seemed so obvious where the movie was going to go, that it would actually going in another direction. But it didn't. Despite unsettling visuals and what I admit are well done portrayals of drug hallucinations, it all still ends with a cultist group sacrificing outsiders to their pagan gods in odd ways. This is exactly what you see coming at around the 30 min mark. The first 15 mins of the movie are great, then all other oddities and unsettling moments are so haphazard that it seems like there was a pitch meeting where everyone threw out strange pagan and cult practices they could think of. Then they decided to Just go with all of them regardless if they contributed or were cohesive. It's a hodgepodge of eerie visuals and music, which is all done well if it could follow a course towards a more interesting ending. A lot of work to reach a mediocre end.
