This is a delightful movie in many ways. Having Farah Zeynep Abdullah in the cast is reason enough to watch this. The plot is interesting and credible. It depicts aspects of what was once traditional, rural Turkish culture in charming and sympathetic ways without seeming artificial or contrived. Although the film is set in 1977 many of the scenes hark back to a simpler, more traditional time. The scenes from the annual joyful migration to the "highlands" is worth the price of admission by itself. Frankly, I have only the highest praise for this film and wish I had been words to do it justice. Take the chance!
