I started watching this show on Netflix and to be honest, the first 5-6 seasons were really good. But half way through season 6 it got stale real quick. Too many secrets, too many reversals, too many lies, too much bulls**t. Reddington crying over the loss of his daughter and saying how much he wished he had more time to tell her things about everything, then when he finds out she is alive, he shuts up again?
You have FBI agents who are good shots under pressure, but can't hit the broadside of a barn at close range when no pressure is applied. They'll shoot at fleeing vehicles in the middle of a city, but yet won't take a shot at vehicle in the countryside? You have Reddington with a no bulls**t attitude at the beginning of the series when he meets people to him being a giddy schoolboy in season 7.
I really enjoyed the series at first but it seems like they are grasping at straws to keep things going.
Don't get me wrong, I loved this show at first, but it's losing it's appeal. I love the cast, but the characters are getting stale. Too scattered now. Unfortunately I am stilling going to watch it, just. because of morbid curiosity on how it plays out.
I hope season 8 gets better.
