I took my wife and daughter to see it today and I must say, it was surprisingly very good. Growing up, I absolutely loved the animated movie, so I was at first reluctantly to see the new movie. I am so glad we went. We all loved it! No spoilers…There were a few scenes that differed between the two movies, but for the most part, Disney kept much of the story the same. We thought all of the actors did a great job; the singing was amazing! There are also some songs they left out, and they added a few new ones as well. We thought the movie was very well made and that Halle Bailey did an awesome job! We hope people give the new movie a chance so that you can make up your own mind.
