Nowhere close to the book some of it was with the worm in the sand and so forth but it was so long and drawn out there wasn’t enough information to process what was really going on and they left out crucial parts of what took place especially the ending cut everything off. It didn’t go into details or depth on any level. Nothing close to the book. The first movie made in the 80s was richer finer more action and in-depth.
