After being left deeply impressed and depressed by the masterpiece that is ‘Save Me’, I felt there was no way they could do another cult drama that could turn out well. however, ‘Save me 2’ was good enough to make me complete all 16 episodes within 2 days. I do need to give some hints as to what the audience can expect. I must say the show made me feel so much anger towards 90% of the characters who are idiots. For the first time I actually punched the air because I was so angry watching fictional enactment. The writers are either geniuses or just lazy. You decide. Unlike ‘Save me’ where ‘Sang Mi’ was the ‘me’ in the title, I couldn’t quite figure out who needed or rather wanted to be saved this time around. It’s more like ‘Save them’ from the protagonist’s POV. If you are a fan of ‘Save me’, you will be in for a pleasant surprise at the end which has left me hoping and praying fervently (pun intended) for a third season.

Not an entire trainwreck, but full of lazily written scenes that were better off deleted and cut to the chase. Story is predictable and cliche unless you have been living under a rock or watching your first drama/movie. Ok, let’s talk a little about the positive stuff. It’s not totally boring. That’s the best compliment I can offer. There are always a few cute or interesting scenes which keeps you entertained, but at the same time has no link to the plot so it’s like a compilation of sorts. I’m amazed there are people who find this drama complicated, when it’s actually just confusing. Not confusing in an Inception kinda way but just nonsensical confusion caused by inapt writing/storytelling. My sincere recommendation is to give this a miss, you can use the time on better things cos’ life is short.
