I mean for it's time, it was probably a marvelous film and the fact I can even watch this movie in the year of 2019 and still feel compelled to call it a good movie proves it's mastery. But to be honest I'd still give it a 3 stars, cause even though I applaud it's way of introducing a mental disorder such as PTSD in a subtle manner....I didn't see any revelation from my point of view. Considering WWII just happen 30 years prior to the movie, it only made sense. So the movie was just alright, nothing more, nothing less.

Just simply phenomenal how this murder mystery just incorporates many themes, and it's some what reminiscence and relatable! Quite well directed and of course dialog was superb, a must go seen. I've already watched it twice, debating a third showing.

Perhaps this movie was a subtle discussion of mental illness,who knows...Cause I don't, overall though it is a very unique movie. watched it a number of times and still enjoy it.
