I read the book in 3 days. It was a wonderful story with God at the very center. I’m so disappointed how the movie removes so much of God and her transformation in God. Taking the entire point of the story and rewriting it for the movie screen makes me sad. A brilliant author who sold the rights for a love story that didn’t demonstrate Gods power ad his ability to change the hearts of even the most damaged. I love the book and unless Christian authors keep the point of their stories they should NOT be made into secular movies.
