Pound for pound (investment to quality ratio) one of the worst TV shows in history, if not the worst (I vote for the worst). They’ve butchered the original story by adding crappy non-existent characters, portraying characters (such as Galadriel or the elves in general) which are nothing like how Tolkien described them, switching the order of major events (or contracting hundreds of years into what seems to be a couple of weeks)… and the list goes on and on and on. The storytelling, dialogue (!!!) and character development is atrocious. There are holes and non-sense in every single episode. It’s painful to watch - and this is amplified by the fact that one can instantly compare this with the LOTR movies.
