If the Rev W Awdry saw this he would burn Mattel to the ground. Long time fans are hating this because of the way the engines looked and their new personalities. The reason why Thomas was a success in the first place was because everyone and were just engines with faces, personalities and simply doing train things. They stayed on the track did their jobs instead of bouncing about like they doofus' they now are. The older seasons treated their audience with a level of intelligence and didn't state their morals. Now Mattel is using Thomas to sell merchandise and nothing else. If Mattel wants to sell then they should return to source material or make up good stories and characters using early CGI or model Thomas. Mattel, listen to the community and not the Twitter users and give fans what they want. Get your stuff together, Mattel.
