I thought the film was very well put together. I am 62, so have a long history of old friendships ; something todays generation have a hard time understanding how people grow apart, change and remember things either ideally or wrong. Both Streep and Bergman gave great performances of self-absorbed middle-aged women who are still dealing with unresolved issues in their lives. The greed and narcissism of Bergman is hysterical.
