Outstanding movie. With a character that arose from Michael Keaton and had been revolutionized by Christopher Nolan / Christian Bale, Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson bring a take on Batman that blew my mind in excitement for my all time favorite hero. Pattinson’s Batman is the best portrayal of the characters detective work and crime solving abilities, and acting performance solidifies him as the new Batman. The movie itself was a psychological thriller that can be enjoyed by anyone who likes classic detective-work mysteries (think Se7en with Brad Pitt). Of course Batman also beat people to a pulp in violent and well choreographed ways. The acting / stylistic choices were worthy of praise by any standard, I couldn’t be more excited to see if there is more to come.
