Xena Gabriel

Plot summary: Girl's dream is to get into Oxford and save money to get her disabled father a new lift so he can go upstairs at home. Girl walks in on rich girl making out with teacher. Rich boy (the brother) offers girl money, then sex, to keep her mouth shut. She refuses but says she won't tell. Boy decides to make her life hell, sabotaging her at every turn (why). She has an opportunity to tell but doesn't. Boy continues trying to ruin her. This kid is cruel. At one point he tells her something like, you're nothing. You'll always be nothing. No matter what you do in life, you'll still be nothing. We're supposed to feel bad for him his dad always told him to be ruthless and won't let boy play rugby. People like this show? How? Why? I quit mid-episode because I couldn't stand it. No humor, dubbing is good. Only redeeming quality is girl's sister. Miss this one.

Acting is horrible, especially by the actor who plays Anne. The Cuthberts are a bright spot but it's not worth watching just for them. Disappointing.
