There is nothing I liked about WICKED. Being a takeoff on the Wizard of Oz film (which was perfection), Thus story has no charm of its own. And I was unimpressed with the acting (I didn't believe a thing they said). The story had no charm as did the Wizard of Oz. I had to tie myself to my seat in order to remain the 2 hrs, 40 minutes. And I find it shicking that it’s so popular. But I know I’m in the minority as I was with Barbie which was okay to watch but was not a good movie.

“The Apprentice” - a fantastic portrayal of the development of Donald J. Trump with three academy award performances by the actors who played Donald Trump, Ivanna Trump and Roy Cohn. I never believed they could find another Trump. And they did. The narcissism stood out for all to see and deal with. I left the theatre scared to death for the future.

I saw Oppenheimer six times. Why? After the first time (on opening day) I felt lost not know the background of the physicists. So I googled the physicists familiarizing myself with them. Then I saw it again and liked it much better. Then I took out the book American Prometheus from the library. About one third through I saw the movie again. And then when I fished the book I saw it again. If it comes out around Oscar season I will see it again. I’m a history buff and remember the man Oppenheimer in the 1950’s. I remember being glued to the McCarthy hearings 1953. I had just graduated from high school and was fascinated by all the controversy which was also frightening as so many lives were destroyed including that of J. Robert Oppenheimer. I highly recommend the book and the film. Brilliant — both of them. The writing, directing and acting was a joy to behold. I was an actress on stage and TV for several years - in another life - which made me appreciate even more how brilliant the film was.

I didn’t know movies so bad actually became a production in a movie theatre.

I saw MAESTRO twice. I couldn’t wait to see the story of the genius Leonard Bernstein and was amazed how much like Lenny - who I met once - Bradley was. I loved the film and the acting was brilliant.

Disappointed. It lacked the charm of other Pixar movies. It seemed to be working hard to go nowhere.

It was insane. And didn’t make any sense unless you want to see suicides and murders and lots of blood and horror. It made me think of Donald Trump as the Chef had a cult following who constantly needed praise or he found a way to punish.
