This show is alright. And only alright because I'm not crazy about the writing of Kerri Russell's character.
The character has to be told to put her hair up so she is more presentable? Really? By the Vice President?
She has her husband smell her arm pits to see if 'it's bad?' I totally understand women who are busy and not concerned about their outer appearance, or who don't like having to wear dresses... but basic hygiene and putting yourself together are basic requirements for any person in their late 30's early 40's in the workforce. Let alone a Diplomat who doesn't have to spend time worrying about tasks such as grocery shopping, cooking or cleaning.
