For the longest time, Zootopia was my favorite animated movie from my young adulthood (as one could probably tell from my profile picture) From its memorable world-building to its simple yet powerful characters and story to its excellent themes, this movie had been one that I've watched over and over again, got tons of merchandise to show for it, and even created fanfictions about its world. For non-musical animated movies, this was one of very few that I considered a 10/10 movie.
The reason I bring this up is because the moment I left the theaters after seeing this movie, my first thought was "I want to see this movie again," and that's exactly what I did with my girlfriend on MLK day. I've rarely thought about seeing a movie in theaters more than once, but this one was absolutely an exception: it was THAT good.
Honestly, I cannot think of a single problem with this movie. Whether it be the animation, the characters, the plot, the themes, the script, or the villains, this movie was 10/10 PERFECTION. Who would have thought that a spinoff sequel to a two-decade's old franchise would be this good, especially considering it was released at the same time as Avatar 2?
Long story short, I'll be indulging myself with this movie for MANY years to come, and I wouldn't be surprised if I change my profile picture once again, or at the very least, start telling my girlfriend to call me her "stabby tabby" as times go on, because "One left spent [enjoying Puss In Boots: The Last Wish] is all that I could wish for. 😁
