I'm a veteran player who started in Pokemon Blue in the 90s. This is the first Pokemon game that I will not finish. It's boring, the graphics aren't great, and the fact that all Pokemon aren't available in the game makes 'gotta catch them all' pointless. The Pokemon designs get progressively worse each year and the ever changing mechanics that started with Mega Evolution just doesn't fit into the initial Pokemon universe concept. My friend circle who also consist of veteran players are losing interest as well as the drastic and rather pointless changes are asstranging the older fans.
