I thoroughly enjoyed it. That being said, the movie does have some flaws (like some green screen shots) but not bad enough to impact my viewing experience. What I recommend is that you go into it with low expectations (don't get hyped up by rumored cameos or potential storylines). If you're a comicbook fan, you might as well come to terms that the MCU isn't always going to flesh out storylines or do justice to certain characters. This movie did tie into past MCU productions (Norton's Hulk, Eternals & Falcon & the Winter Soldier) so maybe brush up on that before watching this movie (although it's not imperative, it just enhances the experience) Lastly, the post credit scene is ominous but really vague so keep that in mind.

There's lot I could write about the issues that plagued this show but I'll try to keep it short and straight to the point. The show was a big disappointment. I think Tatiana Maslany did a great job portraying Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk and they kept it pretty comic accurate (at least with breaking the fourth wall) but aside from that, the show didn't really have solid direction. 1. I took issue that they introduced various significant/interesting characters and did absolutely nothing with them other than forced comic relief. 2. There were several loose ends that were never wrapped up nor did they make sense. 3. Some well established characters ended up making extremely foolish decisions that they normally wouldn't do. For example: if you have artifacts that could cause collateral damage, you may want to ensure you recover it immediately instead of leaving it out in the world without supervision. 4. They take a certain topic and beat you over the head the entire time. I get that it's important subject but if you are going to address it, pick the right time to organically bring it up rather than looking for any opportunity to highlight it even if it feels out of place. 5. The logic behind some scenes is baffling. There's one scene in particular that comes to mind. It's a comparison between 2 people and their experiences. Lets just say calling it presumptuous is an understatement. 6. Lastly, there is no clear baddie. It's more of a concept or system that is brought up incessantly. I would still recommend you watch it for the sake of keeping up with the MCU but at least you know what you're getting yourself into.

This show took me by surprise! I was expecting it to suck given Disney's recent track record but it was surprising well written and a good time. I should point out that if you're looking to see more of Fisk or Daredevil, you may want to manage your expectations. There are some appearances of these characters but the story is mainly focused on Maya and her journey. For those of you wondering if there's action, there is but the story is more about character development than fight scenes. That being said, in my opinion, the choreography was impressive and not over the top. In summation: Echo is a story about Maya and her roots. There are elements to add complexity to her character/circumstances but in the end, it's about her.
