Almost half of the movie is accurate. "Flora" was not in the book and i was a bit disappointed they added a love interest for Griffin. I liked it though and Claude Rains was amazing.

Character names changed around, characters missing, different plot, nothing like the book. What proof did they even have that it was the Monster who killed Maria? You'll probably like it if you don't read the book beforehand. Boris Karloff"s performance is amazing though!
