One of my favorite Orson Welles films. Great cast, with he, Loretta Young and Edward G. Robinson. Disturbing subject matter, but well written, directed and acted. Seen it several times, but it is always entertaining, especially the ending.

One of my favorites, terrific cast, well written, hilarious. Love the cast, especially Norma Shearer, Joan Crawford and Rosalind Russell. Thank goodness for TCM, the best classic movie channel.

Classic 50s sci fi. Well developed plot, good acting, great music( Bernard Hermann) and terrific story. The music fits the action ,especially when Gort appears. In my top five of 50s sci fi films, Usual excellent direction from Robert Wise. Highly recommended,

I'm a big Titanic fan and remember how good Cussler's book was. I know it was a flop and cost millions, but really enjoy this movie. Special effects are great, supporting cast was good and I love Anne Archer. I liked it so much I bought the DVD.

Very well written story, great supporting cast and Kate Winslet is her usual outstanding self. Makes you appreciate good adult drama, especially compared to what else is available today.

My mother was British and lived through WWII in Britain. I've always been a fan of Churchill and love Gary Oldman, Kristin Scott Thomas and Stephen Dillane. Great cast.You;'ll see why Oldman won the Academy Award. Highly recommended,

Amazing recounting of the diver's time learning how life proceeds in the ocean. Incredible photography. Highly recommended.

It just shows you what can be done with a terrific cast, great writing, and subdued direction. Just let the actors work. One of the things that draws me back to this movie is the music, perfectly matched for the pace of the film. One of my favorites.

Classic 50s sci fi. Great story, well written with the well known overlapping dialogue. I've seen it a hundred times but it always holds up. I'm a big sci-fi fan and this is definitely a favorite.

Watched them as a kid, still watching the DVDS at almost 70 years old. As other have mentioned, much of the humor was geared to adults. Always one of my favorite cartoons from years past.
