Here are my overall thoughts and impressions of the film "Kalki 2898 AD". Your agreement or disagreement is welcome.
I went to watch "Kalki 2898 AD" on its opening day, but I was not impressed at all. The movie felt boring and overhyped, and it didn't give me a single goosebump throughout.
Prabhas is very average in the film, and I was puzzled by Kamal Hassan's role. Amitabh's singing voice was dull and didn't fit well in the movie. I couldn't understand why the comedian Brahmanadam was even in the film.
It felt like a poor imitation of Hollywood films, lacking original fight scenes and any gripping moments.
Why were Rajamouli and Ram Gopal Varma cast in the film? The background scores seemed to be copied from Hans Zimmer! Prabhas's lackluster performance drags down the entire movie, with few moments of relief when he is absent.
"Kalki 2898 AD" is an underwhelming movie featuring an unoriginal concept, lackluster performances, clichéd dialogues, and uninspired world-building, ultimately failing to captivate the audience.
