Irene Birrell

The latest series of Shetland is such a disappointment compared to previous series. Political correctness seems to have injected a completely implausible scenario where the victim's mother takes on the policeman's role and the lead detective spends lots of time with her including letting her hang out in the police station. Add to this the amateurish acting of the victim's sister and you have a good series with great lead actors ruined. Sad.
