Lacks depth in the story and jumps around way to much the first hour to follow. One of those movies that I'd have to watch a few times, but at its length- no thanks. There's some good acting but the screenplay is lost and has some odd scenes that seem out of place....like someone forgot to send to the editor first. If you are a scientist, you may struggle with feeling cheated as the story spends more time on Mcarthy era fear than it does understanding the man, his role and contribution to the rise of atomic weaponry.
