There were serious casting issues in this production for TV.
Joe Pickett needs a man with a bit more edge to him than the man cast for the part.
Joe is quiet, strong and determined, not weak or tentative about anything.
Nate Romanowski is a wiry blonde ponytailed hippie type. (Think Vietnam vet special forces suffering burnout.) He's full of attitude, but charming.
A man's look is seriously a part of who he is. Why totally change the author's concept?
The Spirit of the characters is lost.
