Remember seeing this on a retro TV show many years ago. Not bad for that era and frightening in some parts. Tried to buy the DVD and actually ended up with a copy of the original 6 episodes aired in Britain ! Enjoyed seeing the production once more but believe the "Hollywood Magic" ( special effects ) were better with the later release as you could do only so much before a TV audience. The earlier version was quite interesting however. Understand there are more "episodes" with the Quatermass character and I may look to buy those as well ... Quite worth the price if you are a SciFi fan !
