I walked into Trap with modest expectations, but even those were not met. The movie, unfortunately, fell flat on nearly every front.
The plot was disjointed, making it hard to follow or care about the characters. While the premise had potential, it was buried under a convoluted storyline and dialogue that felt forced. There was little character development, and the motivations behind the actions felt weak and unrealistic.
The pacing was another major issue—long stretches of uneventful scenes made the movie feel far longer than it was, and when things did happen, they felt rushed and out of place. The suspense, which is critical in a movie like this, was virtually nonexistent, leaving little impact.
Visually, the film didn’t fare much better. The cinematography was uninspired, and the special effects looked cheap, which only added to the feeling of a low-budget production without the charm or creativity to make up for it.
All in all, Trap was a disappointment. It’s rare that a movie leaves me feeling like it was a complete waste of time, but this one did. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a well-crafted thriller
