One of the best remakes ever! Quality of life updates, modern graphics, and some of the best art direction you'll see in a game. From the music to the visuals, P3R oozes unique style from start to finish. Whether you've played it before or not, you're sure get hooked!

Go for the memes, voice lines, and insanity with friends. Leave for the lack of diversity in missions, enemies, strategies, weapons, and environments. After you complete the gameplay loop a few times, you'll realize everyone eventually uses the same weapons and call ins because all that matters is big damage in a big area. That's pretty much all it comes down to. Fun idea, great writing in the first hour, but there's nothing there for you aside from repetitive grinding after a few hours.

Rune Factory and Harvest were some of my favorite games growing up. RF3 might even be the best farming adventure games out there. RF5 however is weighed down by unnecessary grinding and clunky interfaces/animations. I'm not knocking the graphics too much, it matches the aesthetic of the games. BUT, when the mechanics get in the way of farming, cleaning up your farm, picking up items, etc, it starts to wear on you 40 hours in. I'm at 45hrs and my highest relationship is 5/10, so expect about 60 hours to even get to the romance options. TL;DR: I really wish they spent more time on the game. This feels rushed and lazy and they could really find a new market on PC, but not like this. If you enjoyed the others, you'll probably enjoy this one, but keep expactations low.
