There is no point to this remake, it only made things worse. No one defending it ever seems to acknowledge that, they just go on tirades that if they actually changed things people would complain. The smart thing to do would be to go akin to the Halo remakes and allow real-time toggles for new/old and actually produce a real remake. As it stands its a very small visual "upgrade" in exchange for removed features, bugs and compromised visions. Changing the visuals from 2002 to 2004 isn't worth the downgrades and 30GB of storage.
