I felt something was missing in the film probably because I watched Uyare before this movie came up. Understood the message it carries but didnt feel connected to the movie at all. I couldnt help comparing it to Uyare, which I felt so connected with and could connect with each and every scene played by Parvathy and the whole team so well. I didnt understand language in Uyare as I speak Hindi but followed up seeing subtitles and powerful performance by main character. That was a movie that could portray the message effectively. I cried watching it! Here we are talking about Chhapaak. Probably the movie maker could have done a lot better without songs. Loved Deepika in every movie I watched. It seems justice wasnt given to her role in this movie. If this movie was made to send the audience a message, I believe it has done that. Nothing else could be expected of it.
