Wow…What a perfect movie to round off a trilogy. I grew up watching How To Train Your Dragon one and two. Those movies impacted my childhood greatly, and I am so glad that The Hidden World is the film it is. I can say that this is one of the only films that I have cried to while watching. While the ending is emotional and heartbreaking, I think that it was the perfect way to end the trilogy. The ending credits were also done beautifully. The shots taken from the first two films added with shots from The Hidden World were a great addition. The song being played in the background was emotional and summarized the final installment quite well.

A great follow up of the first movie. The character growth throughout this movie was amazing. Hiccup has to come to terms with his fathers death while trying to defeat Drago and get Toothless and the rest of the dragons back. The film is also a roller coaster of emotions. The beginning is fun and not too serious. Then the middle is emotional and loving. After that, the atmosphere is sad and vengeful. Finally, the ending is joyous and hopeful. This movie sets up the plot of the third installment, The Hidden World, quite well. If you loved the first movie, you’ll definitely like this one.

Favorite movie of all time. I love the dynamic between Hiccup and Toothless. The ending ties everything together perfectly.
