We all are already battling with many stereotypes, discriminations and oppressive practices. A series like this does nothing but strengthens all these negative attitudes. The divide that has been portrayed first of all is not valid. It just shows how an individual can be incomplete and under confident in himself and then blame it on his social relations and geographical location at every minute instance. Even if the divide does exist, the series does not critique it, rather solidifies it making it even larger in the minds of the people. It ends up confirming to the stereotypes and prejudices that should not be there. Creating an image of Jamnaparis, corporate employees, as well as South Delhiites which is pretty caricaturist and does not portray any nuance. These kind of shows allow the society to be more intolerant and be complicit in their differences while they create a wrong picture of a particular section of society.
