Truly great cinematic achievement on so many levels. If you’re disappointed in this movie it’s probably because of some preconceived ideas hindering your appreciation of the brilliant acting, cinematography and actual direction. Not overlooking that it’s primarily a work of fiction, personally I found the real/fictional character of Norma Jean with her intelligence, true talents and over exploited star persona treated with great intelligence and sensitivity.
