Unlike some other reviews, I was too busy watching the series to bother about continuity errors (wine, clothing) which was excellent.
Having previously recorded it, I happily binged watched in one day with a lunch break after episode four.
Revisiting slightly scatty but family-loving Faith was like putting on a comfort blanket. She was just as emotionally involved in her client's cases. Just as in love with, but disappointed in Evan. Poor woman was as strung up as a butterfly in a net. I loved the scene where her boxing routine was put to good use on an adversary.
Like all good thrillers the emerging story pulls you in slowly. Old scars opened and old feelings examined. New threats, new complications.... Faith pulled between Evan and Steve, and trouble at work too. The story gets darker, more dangerous for Faith and those she is close to. When Evan picks up a cushion and creeps towards a slumbering Faith.... Gasp, he's not going to... Sit up a little straighter.... Hold breath.... Well worth the watch.
If this was a book it would be a page-turner, with the end of every chapter leaving you desperate for more.
