Philippine folklore meets animation highlights the Filipino narrative in the world stage. There are merits and demerits in the series but it strongly puts together folkloric characters and Manila’s landmarks into a mystical setting glued for forensic eye of a detective lady protagonist. Though the animation needs more improvement yet the solid storyline enlightens us of our caricatures of the living and the netherworld that Filipinos and its connected global communities in diaspora will be proud of to watch and share it around the world! A good start for more original Philippine animated series to showcase world-class Filipino talent!
