The game is like a normal game for what’s expected today, with great graphics, but for someone whose favorite game is final fantasy 7 for ps1 and someone who is a big fan of the entire final fantasy series, I can honestly say that I’m really disappointed. The entire way through this game it feels like every step is just drawn out as long as possible to make it seem like it was worth it to buy the first part of the series. You guys really took away from the greatness of final fantasy 7 with this installment. Battle system is definitely different, but viable. Material system is screwed for future parts of series. Weapon system is different but nice. Story is a horrible attempt to milk money from fans by making it appealing to the original generation and the new generation. Summoning system is a bust. Limit breaks are a bust. Regardless of what you do with the rest of the series, there is already a bad taste left from this game. You were better off releasing the entire game at once, add significant graphics and slightly more story, but that’s it.
