Pretty bad, like the only real nostalgia you get is from pieces of the movie being shown in bits and of course the familiar faces. I am not like a movie snob or anything but in comparison to the old matrix which was amazingly done long ago in comparison to something with mediocre writing and poor special effects… it was so comical. Literally the few people in the theater were audibly laughing at how poorly some effects and dialogue was done! Not sure why they decide to make a happy ending sequel to something that was fine on its own, but to also absolutely do it poorly? Like, all that money and time spent for that outcome? Really, it had no strong plot and was underwhelming in climaxes! So sad..

I really liked this movie and how it shows the three different perspectives! I have to say though- the very American accents and inconsistent "French Accent" was a little funny.. The movie was super interesting, and at the one once you get the perspective from Marguerite, it ties in. This movie has no legitimate hero, but a set villain amongst their society. We live in a society. One of which is riddled with violence and SA but no voice or support that isn't out of "doing the right thing". It shows the objectification of women and how their experience. I liked the movie, I can only imagine how great the book must be! Can't wait to read it.
