I just read some articles online saying the film was a flop. I can't believe it myself, it is my most favorite romcom film of all! For those who haven't watch this, go give it a chance, it's absolutely amazing. Of course, WHAM! and George Michael's songs, especially the Last Christmas, made it more perfect. It has always brought nostalgia you know. Even until now, I still keep on playing this every month of December. I'll give you a few of my thoughts about the Last Christmas. I'm not good at this, but hopefully this will help you somehow. - The first time I watched this, men, I cried a lot for real. So better have something ready to wipe your tears as you watch this. - The twist. I'd never expected 'that' part honestly, I thought it would just be a cliche plain romance, but hell it gave me good shocking twist. - Their family has a nice story. I love them, and it really made me happy when they gathered all together at the end of the movie, dancing and singing during the celebration of Christmas. - If you feel like your life is a mess and you're losing hope in your passion, you might be able to relate to the protagonist. She's so inspiring. - There are other interesting elements incorporated in the film- portrayals of non able-bodied persons, involvement of immigrant stories, and same-sex couples. That's it! Enjoy!
