Ugg, a few episodes in & I'm really trying to like this but nothing real comes through here. It ALL feels staged. Nothing worse in "reality" tv.

3 stars for trying, or should I say trying too hard. It had potential to be great but it all feels like acting, not reality. Maybe because they're trying too hard to be perfect but I see the cracks behind the beautiful facade. Still rooting for them all!

Time waster. Demented, old time western with just enough gay erotica to keep some people watching all the way through? I kept wanting to smack main actress and her eventual husband upside the head to stand up to the abusive, demented, sociopath, future brother in law, yet I get it, too proper, respectful? You would think this all would make for an interesting story but waaaaay excessive slowness trying to what? Disturb audience? Turn us on? Didn't work for me. Ugh, too much unnecessary drama, not enough substance. I really tried to find some redeeming value but less than a quarter of the way through I found myself pushing the 10 second fast forward through out the rest, never finding a reason to stop for more than minute, that dwindled down to 5-10secs, to keep watching. How this movie got awards is beyond me. Melodramatic, maybe, with enough gross to keep some peoples interest apparently. Brokeback Snoozer in the worst way. Oh Oscar, how you are leading us astray.

Wow. This is a comedy? FAIL.
