I'm old enough to have seen the OG Ghostbusters in theaters (and did), so have been a fan of this franchise since its inception. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and the return to the campy 80s-esque humor that the original movies were known for. I was definitely happy about the return to NYC. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the movie had some weird cuts and didn't give the major monster enough screen time (or some of the supporting characters). But I didn't think it took away from the movie too much. Overall, though, this was a fantastic addition to the franchise.
